Livestone Consulting was contracted to design a new single-family residential home located within walking distance of the beaches in Redington Beach. This project was the re-use of an existing project that was recently completed, with some modifications to both the exterior of the new home along with some reworking of the interior space to better suit the specific client needs.
We were requested to create a new home for a family of 6, providing space for entertainment, and for views of the water. Due to flood zone restrictions, the home had to be elevated. This required elevation provided the opportunity for entertainment space overlooking the backyard pool. On the main level of the home, there is a large eat-in/entertainment kitchen, and a large living room overlooking a spacious second-floor balcony. Located on this floor, there are two bedrooms that could also act as a home office or a home library. On the upper level of the home, we located the main bedroom suite, having private views of the beaches/waterway inlets. Adjoining the master bed, there is an in-law suite/second master with a private balcony and views of its own. Two more bedrooms finish off the top level of the home.
The client requested the overall style of the new home to be a more updated take on the “Florida Beach House” keeping in mind color and material.
