This project was the reimagining of a historic three-story building located in downtown Tampa. The building was constructed almost 100 years ago as a local bakery for the upper Tampa community. Livestone consulting was contracted by the building owner, to explore ways to revitalize the ageing building, and restore it as a community gathering space.

With a community dog park located adjacent to the project site, we explored the option of a bakery or small café on the ground floor that opens to the park, helping to re-invite the community to interact with the site, and to start to bring back life into the area. On the second and third floor of the building, there would be general office space that could be served by the café / bakery below. To bring life to the area after standard business hours, we proposed to have a rooftop bar, overlooking the park below.

With the building being constructed out of old brick, Livestone consulting proposed to restore the existing exterior, showcasing the construction of historic Tampa Bay.
