Livestone Consulting was contracted to design a new single-family residential home located across the street from the inlets of Redington Beach. We were requested to create a new home for a large modern family, providing a higher-end entertainment space and views of the water. With this project located in a flood zone, the home had to be elevated. This required elevation provided the opportunity for entertainment space overlooking the backyard oasis. On the main level of the home, there is a large eat-in/entertainment kitchen, and a large living room overlooking a spacious second-floor balcony. Located on the main living level, two guest bedrooms could also act as a home office(s) or a home library. On the upper level of the home, we located the main bedroom suite, having private views of the beaches/waterway inlets. Adjoining the master bed, there is an in-law suite / second master with a private balcony and views of its own. Two more bedrooms finish off the top level of the home. The client, who is from the mountains of the Carolinas, wanted natural stone and large picture windows for natural light and to frame the views of the water.
